Team Trivia at the Greene Turtle - Team Trivia allows you and any amount of players on your team to compete and test your knowledge for some Greene Turtle prizes. It's a six round game of trivia broken up by a halftime and final question for a total of twenty questions.

Stage Wisp Series with Queen City Funk and Soul- Outdoor Stage Wisp 2019 Concert Series featuring Queen City Funk & Soul! Queen City Funk and Soul, established in 1998, is a diverse collective of musicians from many different backgrounds, influences, experiences, and regions. Many of its members are music teachers. Specializing in classic funk and soul music from the great recording artists of the 60s and 70s, QCFS presents a high-quality package of dance and party music that features outstanding vocalists backed by an impressive array of talented musicians.

Team Trivia at Mountain State co. - Every Thursday is Team Trivia Night at Mountain State Brewing Co. at the Deep Creek Lake location. Trivia starts at 6:30pm and house prizes are awarded for first, second & third places!

Adult Book Club - The Accident Adult Book Club meets on the second Thursday of each month

Gardening-So What's This Herb For? - To event remaining 40 days Join Master Gardener Ashley Bodkins from the University of Maryland Extension Division of AGNR & Natural Resources as we discover how to use herbs in various recipes! Optimus Riff at Friendsville Days - Come jam with us on Friday August 9th from 7-9 pm with Optimus Riff! Optimus Riff is sure to bring some fun to the 39th Annual Friendsville Days Festival. Their funky rock tunes will make you want to get up and dance! Optimus Riff is a local band that plays rock, funk, jam, and electronic music.

Brant Mine Hike - Take a guided hike with the naturalist to the historic Brant Mine. The hike begins in the center in our newly-designed mine room. Once at the mine site you will see the remnants of a coal mine that was operated in the 1920’s. Plus, you never know what wildlife we will see on the way. Approx. 2 hours. Moderate Hike.

Drive in Dinner and Cruise in - Mark your calendar for our drive in dinner and car cruise in on Friday, August 9th at GEARS! Good food and good times. Proceeds benefit FTC team 2818 G-Force, a 4H robotics team that competes at local, state, national and international events.

39th Annual Friendsville Days - Join us August 9th and 10th for our annual town celebration! We’re so excited for our fantastic music line up this year at the 39th Annual Friendsville Days Festival on Friday August 9th and Saturday August 10th in Friendsville, Maryland! Make sure you mark your calendars so you don’t miss it! The lineup this year is fun for the entire family! There will be food and family fun activities happening throughout the day.
