Deep Creek Lake is the largest inland body of water in the U.S. state of Maryland. It covers approximately 3,900 acres and has 69 miles of shoreline. The lake is home to a wide variety of freshwater fish and aquatic birds. The Wisp ski resort and Swallow Falls state park are located nearby.

Here are Deep Creek, we have 4 distinct seasons. We have attractions and adventures that are unique and exciting. And just as these seasons and adventures offer a particular experience, there are so many special homes in our area. In this post, I am going to highlight some of my favorite lake area homes that each offer a one-of-kind feeling for those who enter. When I first have the opportunity to talk to someone about buying a home at Deep Creek Lake, I ask them what they love about the lake, what do they like to do while they're here: are the particular restaurants they visit or do they cook at home, do they like to ski, boat, or both, hike at the state parks or play volleyball in their yard?
