Lake. Life. Love.

Mother's Day was a beautiful day in Garrett County, Maryland. On the days surrounding the holiday, we had snow, wind, rain, and basically the opposite of Spring weather... But on Sunday the sun shone brightly for all of the folks celebrating and being celebrated. My day started and ended by being spoiled by my sweet boys. And between those treats, we had the wonderful opportunity to visit with family. Even from a distance, it was so special to see my grandparents, in-laws, parents, sisters, brother, nieces, and nephews. My goodness, how I miss these people. During the strange times we're living in right now, the thing I miss most is freely spending time with my family and friends. I miss hugs and kisses and smiles and making memories. To be able to do that yesterday, even though it looked a little different than "normal" was truly the greatest gift of all. When we are able to again, I bet we all be holding those loved ones just a little closer.
