On what felt like the last winterty weekend at Deep Creek Lake, the Governor's Cup took over Wisp Resort. Hosted by the Deep Creek Winter Sports Team, the action happens all weekend with ski and snowboard races and comps for folks of all ages. This year, my niece Kennedy and my brother in law Jason took part in the competition and each walked away with medals. Kennedy took gold in her category after her very first year on the DWST! Great job Kennedy!
