WISP RESORT OPENING WEEKEND!!!
Ready. Set. Make Lots of Snow! Winter weather is back again and it's showtime for our Mountain Operations Team of snowmakers and groomers. They are busy covering the mountain with snow to open as much terrain as possible on Opening Day, Friday, December 13. Mother Nature may kick in a few extra inches of natural snow this evening to our overall efforts and we'll take it! The only thing that gets us more excited about opening for the season is opening with over $1 million in improvements and changes to enhance the skier, and overall, resort experience. Winter Farmers Market - Mountain Fresh Producers Association sponsors “Producer-Only” farmers markets in Oakland. We have fresh fruits, vegetables, berries, baked goods, crafts, jams, jellies, herbs, plants, flowers, and more!
Wine and Beer Tasting - A Touch of Class Limousines hosts a Wine and Beer Tasting which includes tasting fees and transportation. Every Saturday from 12 pm- 4 pm, this tour includes visiting and tasting at the following venues: Mountain State Brewing Company, MoonShadow, & Black Bear Wine and Words. Tours depart from Deep Creek Beverage. Transportation is provided in 14 passenger vans. Minimum booking must be met.
