Our Town Theatre BlueShift Dance is committed to offering unique, immersive experiences with the human body in performance; to bringing interdisciplinary artists together to collaboratively curate site-specific installations and performances; to embracing critical thinking, in an environment of equality, open-mindedness, and artistic growth; and to stimulating conversations important to our community, on a universal scale. Presented by the Garrett County Arts Council with Roots: A Yoga and Movement Studio and Our Town Theatre.

The Master Class session is on modern dance with the BlueShift Dance team. A limited number of spots available; tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.

Saturday June 15 11 AM – 12 PM The Workshop this session is a beginner's workshop on modern dance for the non-dancer with the BlueShift Dance team. A limited number of spots available; tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.

Believe in Tomorrow Home Grand Opening - Believe In Tomorrow is very excited to be opening our second home in the Deep Creek area, The House At Deep Creek Lake, and would love for you to join us at the Grand Opening Ceremony, which is going to be held at the house on Wednesday June 12. We couldn’t have done it without the help and support of so many people in the community and we are anxious to show you what that generosity has helped us to build to support the many deserving families in the Believe In Tomorrow Respite Program.

Pocket Park Movie - Pocket park movies are back for the summer! This week's is Mary Poppins Returns. Bring your chairs or blanket and come out and join us under the Mountain Fresh Pavilion on Thursday evenings. Movies begin at dusk.

Karaoke - Choose an old favorite or a new tune and come SING YOUR HEART OUT at Black Bear Karaoke, EVERY Thursday night at the Bear!.

Team Trivia at Mountain State co. - Every Thursday is Team Trivia Night at Mountain State Brewing Co. at the Deep Creek Lake location. Trivia starts at 6:30pm and house prizes are awarded for first, second & third places!

Adult Book Club - The Accident Adult Book Club meets on the second Thursday of each month

GCBR Summer Kick Off - Your YPN Committee has put together an exciting Summer Kickoff Event! Registration is open to all REALTORS, Affiliates, Office Staff, and spouses/ partners/ guests – anyone with an interest in the DCL Watershed, ages 18+

A Weekend with BlueShift - Presented by the Garrett County Arts Council, the MASTERCLASS will be the first in a series of events for “A Weekend with BlueShift Dance”. Held at Roots: a Yoga and Movement Studio, this session is on modern dance with the BlueShift Dance team.A limited number of spots available; tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.

Shakespeare in the Park - Your Own Thing – A Rock Musical retelling of William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night. We welcome the Cumberland Theater and it’s talented players to present an evening of Shakespeare in the Park. Bring family, friends, a blanket or chairs and have a magical evening of entertainment and fun!

Jason Shaw Music at the Home Store Community fair - The Community Fair will be open from 10 AM – 2 PM at 5411 Hutton Road, Oakland, MD. There will be food and other vendors set up in the parking lot, Mountaintop Cruisers Car Club & Antique Tractors will be there. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to Garrett Co. Habitat for Humanity, Cindy’s Fund, Landon’s Library and Meals on Wheels. There will be free games for children

Father's Day Bourbon & BBQ Buffet - We're hosting a cookout! Take dad out to enjoy expansive deck dining, tucked away in the woods overlooking Savage River State Forest.
